I have an addiction. It is a naughty one that Mom likes to keep hidden … except for when I do it in front of guests. Want to know what it is?
I love humping my toys. I know that I should be embarrassed about this, but it is a habit I’ve had since I was a little girl. I just can’t help myself.
Well, tonight I was at it again, and Mom thought it would be funny to humiliate me and post photos.
I am not ashamed. I stress hump too. Especially when there are people around, and it makes me nervous.
Clementine, my cat sister, is not a fan of this bad habit. She is hiding underneath the table.
Well, now the secret is out. Hope we can still be friends.

It’s been a few months since we’ve posted on this blog. Mom has been traveling an awful lot. She went to Vietnam to visit family – without me, of course – and she’s had lots of weekend travels. She went to Reno, Nevada one weekend .. and then went to Maine and Massachusetts for a writing conference.
Not to worry. I’ve been fine. Hope you didn’t miss me too much. I sure missed you bloggy friends!
Now that she is back home with me, we are back to our old routine.
Which means, I get to go to work with her and get belly rubs from all her co-workers. I love to lay on the floor on my back and show you my pink belly.
Here I am getting some belly rubs from mom’s co-worker and her blonde shih tzu, Simba.
Have I introduced Simba on this blog yet? Here he is.
He’s a shih tzu too. But not nearly as cute as me.
I kinda like him. He’s growing on me … I like to sniff his butt in the morning, and we all gather together to get treats. But I am just getting used to him. I don’t really like to play with him.
Here is him and his mom.
I am not sure how old Simba is, but I think he is younger than me. Maybe he is three years old. He’s got the softest hair. His legs are longer than mine, and he runs a little funny … but he sure is cute and fluffy.
Simba and his sister have mouths that close all the way. You can’t see their teeth at all.
But I have a bit more charm, in my momma’s eyes. Look at my adorable toofers..
My hair is a little long. Mommy is going to put into a bow, but I keep shaking out all the bows. Oh well.
Have a great week!

Now that’s freezing cold outside, I am day dreaming and remembering my awesome Christmas that I spent with my family
This past Christmas, I received a delicious stuffed bone from my great-grandma, and I was spoiled rotten. She is 100 years old, but doesn’t look a day over 70. I spent a lot of time sitting on her lap, watching the Christmas festivities. Look at how happy and content I am!
Don’t you just love how adorable my toofers are? There is always one sticking out on my face, and the other one is hidden. I still have my other canine, don’t worry.
I got so much love and attention from my family, and so many rubs.
And from my perch on Great-Grandma’s lap, I watched all the festivities and I was curious to all the presents they opened. This one smells of chocolate! And it was. My great-grandma loves eating chocolate. She says it’s good for her heath and keeps her living!
For Christmas, Great-Grandma got me a bone… only it’s not a real bone. It’s a stuffed toy, but it’s still fun and I played tug-of-war with Mama. It fits my mouth perfectly, and though it’s not as yummy as a real bone would have been, it was still so much fun to shake and play fetch with it. I am a HUGE fan of playing fetch. You throw it and I will get it for you, and bring it back!
I hope everyone had a fabulous holiday and a merry Christmas. I know this post is like a month too late … but we have been busy! And now it’s hibernating and food eating time. It’s cold – Mama has her hot chocolate, and I get bites of yummy chicken.
I leave you with this adorable photo of me and my Auntie. She is holding me like a baby. We think it’s super adorable photo of the two of us! Have a great January!

It’s a chilly day here in St. Louis and Mommy and I decided we were going to take a nice long road trip. We ended up driving to Illinois right next the Mississippi River and we took a nice long walk there.
I got to walk in the woods and sit on a log and it was so much fun!
How was your New Year’s my anipals?

It might not be throwback Thursday, but here’s an old photo Mama found from our trip last April to Nebraska. We were in Omaha, NE in their downtown, and Mama sat me on a big cow. Look at my face!
The wind was blowing, and I was thinking, “Why am I sitting on this cow?”
Mama just loves my expression in this photo.

Happy Thanksgiving! Did everyone have a good day with their families? I sure did!
It was a busy day in the kitchen, with me looking cute and Mama occasionally giving me a nibble or two of potato, and even a piece of chicken. How can you resist this adorable face?
My friend, Chanh the Shih Tzu came over to play. We are always together on all the holidays. He’s black and white like me. Isn’t she the sweetest?
I think I have a more gentle “girlie” face, and he has a more square, robust and muscular face. He’s the sweetest, though. He doesn’t care about the humans — well, maybe he does a little bit, when it comes to food – but he loves to just follow me around. And I do show him who is boss!
By the end of the evening, Mama was exhausted – she had cooked all day, so Chanh and me just snuggled together on the couch. Can you tell which is me, and which is my Chanh?
Have a great Thanksgiving weekend, everyone!
