April 14, 2013 The weather here in St. Louis has been really weird recently. We had an entire week of super warm weather, in the 70s, and then all of a sudden, it got very cold again. Mom had to turn back on the heat, and we snuggled underneath the blankets every night. But today was my first day where it was warm, and thank goodness, too, because I got groomed today.
We went out for a walk to a park near my house. I loved lounging in the sun, and I was dressed in this pink Hello Kitty dress, which had a tutu. Don’t I look all pretty groomed and all? Mom likes me more fluffy, but with the spring coming, we decided that it was time for me to lose my winter hair!

What do you think of my new haircut? Am I still adorable with short hair? Mama says my face is so kissable, and the short hair just makes me super soft and she still loves to cuddle with me.
October 14, 2012 So… After that embarrassing outfit and pink shoes mama made me wear…. I was forced to wear this Cat Woman dress.
I am no cat.
I wonder if they have dog woman costumes? Why do cats get all the fun?
July 30, 2012 Mama has been super busy and a bit stressed lately, so she does what she always does to de-stress – SHOP!
Look what she got me. It was on sale for only $5! It’s a little American flag tank top. Blue and white stars on most of the dress, with some red ribbons! It’s pretty cute!
(Well.. I just put up with it cuz she gives me treats.)
The pictures were taken on the iPhone cause Mama too busy to take them with her new high tech digital SLR. (More high quality photos to come, though. When we have more time.)
It looks adorable, or so mama thinks. What do you think?

January 31, 2012 Do you remember a few weeks ago when I blogged about wanting doggie pajamas? I even posted a few photos of dog pajamas that I thought were super stylish and would be really cool to wear?
Well, my crazy Mama went out and splurged on a cute pair of polka-dotted pajamas! Of course, they aren’t the $50 stylish pajamas (that could double as a day outfit, and pajamas), but they are still pretty adorable.
At first, I wasn’t sure whether or not I liked them or not . . . Mama made me wear them, and I just sat there, staring at her.

I’ve never had to wear anything on my back hind legs before, and I wasn’t sure if I would like these PJ’s – no matter how cute or comfy they were.
Mama placed my head through the large neck hole, then my front paws… Then slipped my back paws in. These doggie pajamas have a hole where your “special” pee and poo-poo area is . . . which means that I can go #1 and #2 without having to take the pajamas off. And the pajamas also don’t get dirty or anything.
These pajamas are slightly larger than my other clothes, because Mama didn’t take me to the store. She just gauged how I might fit.
The doggie PJs are mostly white with pink, green, and yellow polka dots. The green dots have a white bone; the pink dots have “zzz…”; and the yellow has food bowl that says “dog.” The trim is hot pink. Very cute dog pajamas, and they are machine washable. These only cost $14.99 at the local pet store, where Mama gets my organic, grain-free, made-with-natural ingredients (Orijen) dog food.
Aren’t my new polka dotted dog PJs super cutes?

This photo, below, makes my head look super big. I promise a Shih Tzu’s head is NOT humongous to the rest of our body. But I am pretty darn fluffy, and my face is very kissable – or so Mama says.

Just in case you were wondering, I did go outside in my new pajamas and run around and play a little. It was great funs!

January 15, 2012 So, I know that we’re a day late posting this, but my Mama was just too busy yesterday to update my blog. (And since I have paws, I can’t exactly use the computer mouse or type very well … so I have to rely on my human mama to type my barks into words.)
My best anipal, Sadie Shih Tzu (who has the coolest dog blog ever!) wrote on my Facebook wall and told all about yesterday’s big celebration:
“Uh oh – it’s National Dress Up Your Pet Day Gracie. Keep an eye on your person. There’s no telling what kind of crazy outfit she’ll try to make you wear today.”
(Hope Sadie and her mom (“person”) doesn’t mind me sharing that with you!)
January 14 (which was yesterday) as the annual National Dress Up Your Pet Day. Animal parents all over the world celebrated by dressing up their pooches (and kitties) in all kinds of cute dog clothes, costumes, and dog accessories – like sunglasses, hats and such.
Since my Mama is obsessed with dressing me up… of course, I did have to wear an outfit.
Here’s a photo of me as an Elf… Nope, I wasn’t exactly pleased with the get-up. I hate wearing anything on my head. Not bows, not hats… Nothin’ but I do look cute – to humans anyway.

And of course, we can’t leave out Mr. Pumpkin (my furry cat brother – the flame point Siamese). This photo is from Halloween, but it’s purrrfect to share for today’s post.

January 2, 2012 Have I ever mentioned that I have quite a large wardrobe of outfits? Seriously, my Mama buys me more clothes than she buys herself… It’s seriously sad, but I guess I don’t mind… Most of the time. But this time, Mama didn’t get me this new dress. Santa Paws put this in my Christmas stocking. Isn’t it pretty?
This black and white polka dotted dress has a little belt around the waist. Makes me look like a Shih Tzu Diva, doesn’t it? I look pretty darn cute, if I have to say so myself.
What I really like about this dress is that it velcros around chest.. so unlike other annoying outfits, Mama doesn’t have to slip it over my head. She just puts my paws through the arm holes and velcrows it on me. Doesn’t hurt, and it’s so easy to put on and take off. The fabric is also very light, so it’s not too hot on me.
Though it’s already winter, we still have fall-like weather here in northern Alabama/southern Tennessee.
Here I am looking up at Mama, wondering why she is snapping my photo once again.

And I see a squirrel that catches my eye…

Do you see my little toffers? I have a little characteristic snaggletooth. For some reason, that one tooth always sticks out. On the other side, it stays in my mouth…
