January 11, 2012 I am one lazy shih tzu doggie. Laying in bed and sleeping are my two favorite hobbies… especially at night, when there is nothing else to do. I tend to do my playing during the mornings, afternoons, and evenings. But at night, I’m like a human. I like my sleep. I actually sleep through the night, too. Cuddled up next to my favorite person in the world – my Mama.
I am fiercely loyal to my mom, and I follow her everywhere she goes. And when she is busy and not paying any attention to me, or when I am just plain tired, this is what I look like…
Yup, I am a lazy, sleepy shih tzu puppy.
In the above photos, I am wearing my Christmas sweater. It is red and it has a Christmas tree on it. Mama got it on sale for 75 percent off after the holidays, so it ended up only costing a few bucks. But it’s warm, and it keeps me snug and cozy during the cold winter months.
January 10, 2012 Although I’m just a little pup, I travel a lot with my Mama. Whenever she goes out of town, I go. (The only time she left me at home was when she went to Europe overseas. She was backpacking from country-to-country, so taking me was not an option).
We travel to Nashville, Tennessee A LOT to see my human grandparents and my boyfriend, Chanh, who lives with them.
I ride in the passenger’s seat – never in the driver’s seat with my Mama (although I really wish I could sleep in her lap the entire time). When we go on car rides, Mama always drapes her big, comfy jacket and I lay on top. And I always get to chew on a toy to occupy my time. I am a really cute passenger, don’t you think?
And I am a good little traveler.
Mama might buy me a doggie seat belt in the future, but she is worried that I won’t use it. And that I will cry, and since they do cost a lot of money, she doesn’t know if it’s worth it. But for now, I sleep in comfort and style in my red sweater… And I play with my stuffed toy when I wake up.
January 10, 2012  You always hear about what dogs cannot eat – like chocolate, grapes, avocadoes, onions – but sometimes finding information on what dogs can eat is more difficult. Since dogs are so irresistibly cute, it’s easy for humans to fall prey to their pup’s sweet stare as he or she looks at you with those adorable eyes.
“Give me a bite, Mama?”
Since you’re only human (unless you’re a dog reading this), you’ve probably succumbed and given your dog a table scrap, or two. Most pet owners have a habit of feeding their dogs little bits of human food occasionally – maybe for a special occasion, like the holidays, or when your dog is sick.
But, what exactly can dogs eat? What human foods are safe for dogs?
Helpful Tip: Because not all dogs are alike, you may want to only give your dog a tiny nibble of your food. Your dog may be allergic, or have a negative reaction to it. He or she can have an upset tummy, diarrhea, or even throw up. So always start slow when introducing your human food to your dog.
January 9, 2012 I don’t know about you, but I am pretty spoiled rotten. I have a massive amount of toys, and I’m always getting more and more. You know the reason why?
I am constantly destroying toys. And when I say constantly… I seriously love chewing on my stuffed animals, shaking my head, licking them afterwards, and then chewing on them some more. And sometimes, I chew holes into my toys and then the stuffing falls out. And I just can’t help myself. I sink my teeth into the hole until it gets larger – and even more toy stuffing falls out. And if I can get to the squeaker, then my job is done.
I am one satisfied shih tzu pup.
As you can imagine, Mama has to throw away some toys and buy me new ones. In the last year and a half of my life, I have amassed quite a collection of toys. I actually have two boxes full of toys. This is just one of the boxes of toys. There’s my pink dog, my new gray dog, some fuzzy creature I got from Santa Paws, my brown Monster (who I call “Mon-ter”), my Christmas penguin, my green Christmas sock that I enjoy chewing on…
I am indeed plenty spoiled with all of my toys. Lots of tasty things to chew on, play fetch with, and carry around the house.
Sometimes, when I am really super hyper, I even carry my toys with me outside, to the backyard.

January 8, 2012 Mama has recently discovered Pinterest – which is a social media website that allows people to “pin” or share photos and other content that they find online. It’s kinda like a scrapbook that people can create of cool stuffs. Anyway, it is a super cool and super neat place to check out.
Although I am the cutest Shih Tzu puppy ever …

I think there are other puppies that may be equal to my cuteness. And I say… MAY equal, because my Mama still thinks I’m pretty darn adorable.
Now this photo (below) – isn’t he so adorable – was the Shih Tzu dog photo that made Mama want to find a Shih Tzu with a mostly white face. So you can thank him for her looking so hard to find me. That was the puppy that Mama wanted, and she even bought a Shih Tzu pup that looked like him – brown and white. But she wanted a girl, so she ended up with me. So I am jealous of this pup… But I can’t help but think he’s pretty … Okay, Super Adorable!

Mama and I just love smushed faces, and this tiny shih tzu puppy with his tongue sticking out is definitely a cutie pie! It almost makes me want to get another little sister! And to think, I used to be that teeny-tiny. I was less than 1 pound when Mama brought me home.
I love having longer hair – I hate it when Mama tries to get me groomed, and I lose all my hair. And I think all Shih Tzu – boy or girl- need to have a little bit longer hair on our cute faces. Isn’t this little shih tzu adorable? I especially love her button nose, and so adorable black eyes.
Who doesn’t think dog wigs aren’t cool? I love this wig. But that Shih Tzu does NOT look happy. He looks mad… Hehehe… But he’s so cute!

January 8, 2012 Dogs are called “man’s best friend,” so why shouldn’t we get to have cute furniture – just like our human parents? I love my mama unconditional, and I miss her like crazies when she leaves the house. But I think that maybe, I wouldn’t be so sad if I had my own comfy couch – or a cool designer chair – to sleep in, while I waited for her to come home.
So, Mama and I were online the other day, and we read that companies sell designer chairs for dogs – just for us canines! How cool is that?
While yes, I love sitting (and sleeping on my Mama’s lap), I think I would like having my own chair. Yes, I would.
How can anyone say no to this face?
After browsing the ‘net, I found my dream list of luxurious, designer doggie chairs. Check them out, and let me know what you think! Don’t you want one of these chairs, too? They are just so, so stylish!
Too bad we can’t afford them. But I wanted to share them with you. No one has paid me to share them with you. I just want ‘em! I even Photoshoped my face on some of the chairs, so you could see what I might look like on them!
Princess Lola’s Chaise ($600) – Pink is totally my color, and I am Mama’s princess. I just think cute little chair is perfect for me and my bum. It looks very soft too, and can’t you just see me – the fashionista that I am – sleeping on this very plush designer chair, complete with its soft pink faux fur and feather trim? It’s made for small dogs under 20 pounds.
Can someone tell my mama to buy it for me?
Amelia Classic Dog Chair ($399.97) – Oooh! This chair is definitely perfect for my stylish self, too. It’s Victorian-style, timeless, and looks pretty comfy. I think it would fit in with the décor of any modern home.
But in my home, I think maybe Mama can put it in the living room, so that the two of us can watch TV together…
I think this one would be good for a boy doggie too, since it’s blue.
$400 is really not that much… Mom…
Sugarplum Princess Bed ($140) – Okay, so this one isn’t actually a designer bed, but it’s still pretty fabulous. I really like the white tent and the pink bows that go over it. It looks like a tiny gazebo that I can sleep in. It looks made for a princess, and I’m definitely princess material. Couldn’t you see me lying in this bed? I can only dream that Mama will surprise me with it in the morning. Ooooh – it’s just so, so gorgeous! And I want it!
Beverly Hills Black Luxury Dog Bed ($1,550) – Now if Mama was rich, this is what she’d buy for me. This chair has black faux fur on the button, and it looks like a dream for any spoiled pooch. Oh, so stylish and it would match perfectly with my black and white polka dotted dress, don’t you agree?
We might not live in Beverley Hills, CA and I might not a famous celebrity’s dog, but I’m treated like an oh-so-adored celebrity in my own house, so why not give me a dog that makes me feel like the Hollywood royalty that I’m treated as?
Come on, Mama!
Wooded Framed Pet Dog Chair with Pink and White Polka Dots ($251.99) – I think this chair would fit perfectly in Mama’s pink office. She could place it in a corner of her office, and I could sleep on it, while she writes. Doesn’t it look perfect for me? It’s low in height, easy to move from room to room, and I think I would definitely love it. And it’s great for when I get old and get arthritis. Oh Mama… Don’t you think I should be comfy and live in style?
Oh, come on, Mama…. Pul-lease?! Buy me my own furniture?! Don’t you love me?
