The Bachelors’ Answers (The Dating Game – Shih Tzu Style, Part 2)

I am such a lucky Shih Tzu girl. So many bachelors wanted to be my Valentine’s Day date – I even had to add a few more bachelors to the original list. Sadly, one bachelor did withdraw his name from the hat – he found another lucky girl pup to declare love to. (If you missed the last post, check out The Dating Game – Shih Tzu Style, Part 1)

Many entered, but only one will win. Who will I give the final rose to?

Who will get to share my delicious Shih Tzu kisses on Valentine’s Day next week?

To refresh everyone’s memory, here are the questions that I asked each lucky doggie bachelor.

  1. Handsome doggie, why should I pick you to be my Valentine’s Day date?
  2. What are your favorite hobbies?
  3. Would you share treats and your favorite toys with me?
  4. What is your idea of the most romantic doggie-themed evening?
  5. Are you a gentleman dog, or just out for a good hump?
  6. What kind of kisser are you? A face licker, or one that goes for the privates?
  7. What do you look for in a girl doggie?
  8. What is your theme song?
  9. Do you have potty accidents in the house?
  10. How would you woo me on our date?
These are their answers . . .

Meet Einstein, the Smallest Horse in the World

Mama and I love baby animals, and horses are one of our favorite animals. We want to introduce you to a pinto stallion named Einstein – the smallest horse in the world.

At just three days old, Einstein was only 14 inches high and he weighed 6 pounds! That is smaller the average human baby. Isn’t he adorable?

Here is Einstein, the Smallest Horse in the World, with a Young Human Child

Einstein was born in April 2010 at Tiz Miniature Horse Farm in Barnstead, New Hampshire. Since his birth, he has become quite a horse celebrity. He was on Oprah (when the diva was still on network TV), and been in numerous national newspapers in the US and in the UK.

The world’s smallest horse was sold and now owned by horse enthusiasts, Charlie Cantrell and Rachel Wagner. He lives in Gilmanton, New Hampshire on their small farm.

On his first birthday (March 2011), Einstein grew to 20 inches tall and still pretty adorable.

Einstein is an amazing little horse because he has no dwarf characteristics. He’s just a small miniature horse, even shorter than his mom. His mother, a horse named Finesse, is 32 inches tall and his dad, named Painted Feather, is 30 inches tall.

His owners are pretty sure that he has stopped growing, but he can’t be officially recognized as the world’s smallest horse until he’s four years old.

He is just so cute! Don’t you just want to play and cuddle next to Einstein? We love his name, too!

My Kitty Brother – Mr. Pumpkin’s Gorgeous Blue Eyes

I live with the most handsome Flame Point Siamese cat EVER – Mr. Pumpkin, my cat brother. He is a gorgeous cat with an amazing personality. He always wants to snuggle with us; he purrs whenever we pet him, or when he’s near us; and he and I love chasing each other in the yard.

Did you know that I bark and chase him . . . and sometimes he chases after me.

We LOVE playing together. Who says Flame Point Siamese Cats and Shih Tzus can’t live together? I love him, and he loves me.

Isn’t he beautiful?

And he has the most beautiful blue eyes.

And he seriously has the cutest freckles on his nose.

Don’t you think he’s adorably cute and handsome? Too  bad he can’t make any more kitty babies. Mama got him all neutered and such. Poor guy. No more girlfriends for him.

Mr. Chewy: Delivering Pet Food to Your Door (Website Review)

Mr. Chewy LogoA few weeks ago, Mama and I were approached by Mr.Chewy.com – an online pet food store – to review their services. We were excited about this opportunity, since Mr. Chewy sells the special dog food that I eat (Orijen dry dog food). Mr. Chewy offered us a $50 coupon to use on their website in exchange for a review on my blog. Of course, we leaped to the opportunity!

We’ve never bought dog food online. Mama drives to Nashville to pick up Orijen for me. We love this brand of dog food, since it’s grain-free and made with fresh, “fit for human consumption” meats and other ingredients. Many commercial pet stores, like PetCo and PetSmart don’t carry the brand, so we didn’t have a reason NOT to try Mr. Chewy’s offer.

We were disappointed, however, that they were out of stock in the 15.4 lb-bag of Orijen Adult Dry Dog Food that I normally eat. (We just checked and it’s back in stock). So we settled with buying the Orijen Fish Dry Adult Food, and Mama also ordered some yummy treats for me.

On their Website, Mr. Chewy claims to offer Free 1-2 Day Shopping on any order over $49. It’s a pretty good deal for anyone buying lots of pet food and pet products. But the company ships out of Pennsylvania, and since we are located in the Southern USA… we assumed that it would take a few extra days. But we were pleasantly surprised.

Mama placed our order on January 30th (Monday); Mr. Chewy sent us an email January 31 (Tuesday) saying that the product had been shipped. We received our boxes on Thursday (2 days after it left the warehouse). So kudos to Mr. Chewy for being true to their word.

When the boxes arrived, I told my black Labrador brother, Bo, to back off. They were my boxes!

All mine, brother!
